Fire suppression has always been the roadblock to aisle containment. Data Clean Asia and TRAX have together developed a solution to enable the installation of containment around gas or water based suppression systems. To address fire safety concerns, curtains are attached to ceiling with heat-sensitive fusable links. The thermal fuse-link is made of two pieces of metal with soft solder between that melts at a temperature which is below the temperature at which your fire suppression system would be activated. Thermal fuse-link allows the curtains to drop when room temperatures reach 57°C. UL listed Fuse-link is suitable for situations where modification of the existing fire suppression system is not feasible.

UL listed Electro-mechanical McCabe Link with 165°F temperature rating are available for data center gas suppression system. Electro mechanical links are magnetic links that when a signal from the fire suppression system is sensed, the curtains drop. This UL 33 listed specialty Fire Link is available in both Thermal and Thermal Electric versions. Utilizing a unique Bi-Metal configuration, theMcCabe Link is reusable after heat testing – just manually click to reset it.

All TRAX materials meet California State Fire Marshall standards. Trax’s ESD Safe Seiden Crystal Anti-Static PVC meets ASTM E-84: NFPA Class A & UBC Class 1 Flame Spread and Smoke Density Standards and is NFPA 701 compliant.

Seal-Tech Attachment System provided with TRAX high grade vinyl curtains assures rapid, hassle free installation. After the clear anodized aluminum mounting extrusion is installed, the curtains quickly hang in place, and are secured with a matching cap extrusion.
